
The JBP Concours is a fun and welcoming day for every hobbyhorse enthusiast. It’s the perfect place to meet fellow hobbyhorsers, share your passion, and compete for great prizes. During the event, participants take part in three disciplines: dressage, jumping, and a surprise activity.
The day starts with dressage. After the lunch break, the jumping course is set up, and the event closes with a surprise discipline. As soon as a new edition is announced, the details of this surprise activity will be shared on this page.




The JBP Concours takes place in a sports hall.
Plenty of parking just 1 minute’s walk away
Clear signage will guide you to the entrance
Toilets and changing rooms available
Participants may only compete wearing shoes or barefoot (no socks, for safety reasons)
The exact location of the sports hall will be announced when a new event is scheduled

Show your creativity with a self-made dressage routine!
Points are awarded for performance and originality
Optional: ride your routine with music (you can request this when entering the arena)
Age groups: up to 12 years old, and 13+
Maximum time: 2 minutes
Arena size: approx. 8/9 by 6/7 meters
If you participate twice, you must ride the same routine both times

Test your speed and skills at different heights: 35 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm, and 100 cm.
Age groups: up to 12 years old, and 13+
Timed course: fastest time wins
Penalties: refusals or knocked poles add +2 seconds to your time

Every edition ends with a unique and surprising activity. Details will be revealed once the next event date is confirmed.
